In the last decades however, mass tourism has taken over and unfortunately destroyed much of the charm of Ibiza and Formentera. But not everything on the islands has been spoiled, and a visit to the pine islands’ (the ‘Pityussae’, as the Greeks called them) is still worthwhile today. There’s an unending wealth of hidden beauty spots to be discovered, and this book helps you to find the best of Ibiza and Formentera by car, bicycle, or on foot.
